This part of our program is conducted like the rounds in a fight. Three minutes on, one minute rest. We turn the time clock on with the music and hit the bags. We work on our conditioning and technique. While rotating between various bags. Bag Work consists of the speed bag, heavy bag, slip bag, focus pads, body armor, and kicking shields. We could do as many as 10 to 15 rounds of bag work. The next part of the program is the sparring part of our program. Sparring is practiced with control only. No head contact and light body contact only. When you spar, special sparring gear is required when you spar for safety purposes. This part of our training is for advancing in belt rank in karate. Another type of fighting in boxing and kickboxing is body work. This is full contact to the body only. No head contact. This training builds endurance and toughens to a fighter's workout. We finish with one round of jumping rope. The next level of training is Karate Chung Do Kwon Tae Kwon Do which is mandatory for every White Collar Boxing client. That includes belt exams, with belt ranking with karate tournaments. (continued)Next Page |
