The kicking is A to Z.. The beginners obviously start with basic kicks, whereas, the advanced clients throw more advanced kicks during the warm up.  

Next, we do punching drills as a group.  At this point, the instructor teaches proper form when you punch.  The student has a chance to work on his or her form. We cover hand and leg techniques for boxing, karate, and kickboxing.  This part is important for your warm up and skill training.   It also helps you retain more knowledge, which also helps minimize injuries.

Next, we move on to various kicking and punching combinations.  We do  kickboxing and karate combinations during this segment of training.  Once again the student's experience level will determine what techniques they will be practicing. 

Next, we move on to the specialty segment of our class.   This part includes various types of training that do not need to be worked on in every class. This would include: shadow boxing, plyometrics, self-defense, and other various types of training.

Shadow boxing is done in boxing and kickboxing.  This exercise is good to develop smooth coordinated motion and balance while practicing various combinations.  Other benefits include speed and aerobic training.
